Forever Gamer

"Nice beat and somethin i can relate too!"

submission: Forever Gamer
date: May 18, 2008

I love the retro-gaming sounds incorporated in it, and i can honestly relate to the lyrics :D
You have a sound similar to "Eifel 65" old techno-ish band I havent heard in ages, but loved listening to a few of there songs, they even have a song dedicated to gaming too, also a good one!

Dad 'n Me

"God... what has possessed you..."

submission: Dad 'n Me
date: March 15, 2008

to be able to make such amazing tracks?!
I love how each 'theme' is distinct, the "Dad" theme is very intense and easily fits with the heavy, and the "Junior" one is a little softer, yet retains its metal presence even though it sounds a little more innocent and upbeat. Kudos on a badass song, love the sound effects.

Song of Storms remix

"took me a bit..."

date: February 26, 2008

But I finally recognized this song! Was one of my favorite melodies in the game. I like how it gradually starts up, building up tempo almost like rain, and from there never really dips below that spot, with the occasional bursts like lightning and thunder.

Mega Man X2 | Zero's Theme v3

"Daaaaamn"

date: February 10, 2008

The only thing that could improve this song was if someone made an equally epic flash to show off your idea!

Author's Response:

Now that would be awesome as hell but I don't think it will ever happen. :(

Anyways, thanks for checking it out! Glad you enjoyed this piece!

date: November 2, 2007

I just tried that angrfaic thing, and its true, which is amazing considering he should be angry.

But to be serious, nice and sweet, just how a relaxing lullaby should be, congrats on winning!

Author's Response:

Soul Mirror

"Really nice"

submission: Soul Mirror
date: November 2, 2007

It has a nice, relaxing tone that, like someone said, has a sort of FF sound to it, which is definately a compliment considering the musical genious that worked for that seres.

Author's Response:

Hey thanks man!
Nobuo Uematsu is certainly a genious, I love his piano pieces.
I'm glad you liked it.

star ocean 2 battle theme

"I love you... o.o;"

date: October 31, 2007

God I am lucky to have this game, it was a real big pain in the ass to hunt down, and honestly, this brings back so many memories of battles I've had, having Claude traverse across the entire battle map in one leap as he yelled out "Headsplitter!" And sliced the enemy in two. The game had so many beautiful songs, and this is one of my favorites!

November 5, 2007

Author's Response:

aww I love you too :3

and ya I had to buy a used version of mine

my fave attack was "tear him to pieces" - and the eternal sphere sword that shoots out stars - which shoots out BILLIONS of them on the 10th wise man (sage)

ahh the memories..

thanks for the review!

-Glorious morning-

"nice, uplifting and inspiring!"

submission: -Glorious morning-
date: October 31, 2007

This is a good song, it blends seemlessly between end and beginning on repeat, it has a rather upbeat, almost inspirational tone. Though not quite epic, it still makes good music for battle, normal battle, not like a boss fight or somethin!

Lighting A Candle

"I got shivers"

submission: Lighting A Candle
date: September 30, 2007

I got shivers when I listened to it, its a beautiful piece, and the overal tone has a hint of sorrow, especially after around 1:24, when a faint sound like singing can be heard, it really adds to the overall moment. When on repeat, it's a bit easy to spot the transition between end and beginning, but that is alright for a song of this length. To be honest, this is probably the first classical piece I've heard on here that I really liked, great job on it.
